The Holiday City Planning Commission met on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Holiday City Visitor’s Bureau. Mayor Pamela Clark, Shawn Clark, and Village Administrator Blair Campbell were in attendance.
The commission made progress on updating its current zoning book and index. They noted that the index had a few inconsistencies with the book and aimed to remedy that in the future. “We should be consistent,” stated Mayor Clark, “It’s important to have a quick reference.”
Zoning progress has continued, with only a few areas in Holiday City yet to be zoned. Public Office, Public Land, and CS2 districts were the main focus of the Thursday meeting.
It was noted that the CS2, or Commercial Service Zoning, definition required businesses to be within 200 feet of State Route 15, a policy they wished to adopt in their official zoning guide.
During the next meeting, they plan to focus on the industrial portion of Holiday City. The Holiday City Planning Commission adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
