The Fulton County Festival of Trees returned for its third year, spreading holiday cheer while raising vital funds for individuals with special needs.

The annual event, organized by Triangular Processing, took place over three days from Thursday, November 6, through Saturday, November 8, and featured a full lineup of festive activities.

Triangular Processing uses proceeds from the Festival of Trees to directly support those with special needs in Fulton County.

Funds help fill the gaps for programs such as the Special Olympics and recreational activities. The organization has also taken a leading stance on fair pay by eliminating the use of special minimum wages, which allow some programs to pay individuals with disabilities less than the standard minimum wage.

Instead, Triangular Processing believes every one of their hardworking participants deserves equal pay for their efforts.

This year’s festivities began Thursday evening with a lively trivia night, followed by the elegant Festival Gala on Friday. The gala featured a highlight of the weekend, an auction of approximately 25 fully decorated Christmas trees.

The final day, Saturday, welcomed the community to a bustling Holiday Market hosted by Blooms Flowers, featuring 30 local vendors and a special appearance by Santa Claus for photos.

Each year, Triangular Processing honors an “Artist of the Year,” showcasing the creative talents of individuals within their programs.

The featured artist’s work is displayed on a variety of items available for purchase, such as mugs, shirts, and ornaments. This year’s Artist of the Year is Jason Pfund, whose artwork was proudly displayed throughout the event.

The Fulton County Festival of Trees continues to grow as a holiday tradition rooted in community spirit and inclusion, celebrating creativity, generosity, and the belief that everyone deserves to be valued for their contributions.
