The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way driver OVI injury crash. The crash was reported on February 25, 2026, at approximately 12:42 a.m., on Interstate 75 north bound near milepost 197, in Rossford.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2012 Lincoln MKS operated by Shane Robinson, 50 years of age, of Perrysburg, was traveling south on the north bound exit ramp of Interstate 75.

While driving the wrong-way, the MKS entered the north bound lanes of travel of Interstate 75. A 2013 Freightliner Conventional operated by Sanad Abdorab, 30 years of age, of Hamtramck, Michigan, was traveling north on Interstate 75 in the right lane. The MKS struck the Commercial. Both vehicles then traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck the ditch.

Mr. Robinson was administered sobriety field test on scene of the crash which resulted in him being placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). Mr. Robinson suffered minor injuries.  Mr. Abdorab was not injured.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Rossford Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire & EMS, Bubba’s Towing, and VJ’s Towing.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminds all drivers not to operate a motor vehicle while impaired.
