The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, roll call, approval of minutes from the March 10 session, and approval of the agenda.
During old business, commissioners reviewed the February investment report and Dog Warden reports for periods ending February 14 and February 21.
In new business, the board approved appropriation changes that included creating a new Board of Elections filing fees line with $5,000, along with several postage-related adjustments involving the auditor, dog and kennel, and real estate assessment budgets.
Commissioners also approved canceling regular sessions set for March 17, March 24, and March 26 due to a lack of quorum. A payment plan agreement for the Northeast Water System account at 16111 State Route 64 in Metamora was also approved.
Next, the board approved Subgrant Agreement 2026-30 with the Greater Ohio Workforce Board, Inc. for workforce development services running from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.
They also approved Contract 2026-31 with Fulton County Juvenile Court on behalf of Job and Family Services for IV-D child support services for 2026, with a cost not to exceed $62,012.73.
Fulton County Auditor Brett Kolb also appeared before the Fayette Local Board of Education at its March 9 regular meeting, where he discussed future property tax considerations and their projected financial implications for the school district and surrounding community.
The meeting concluded with approval of purchase orders and travel requests before adjournment. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
