COMING TO LIFE … This year, the fifth and sixth grade students at Saint Mary School conducted research on famous athletes and musicians as part of their annual Wax Museum project. Students explored the lives, accomplishments, and lasting impact of their chosen figures through detailed research and presentation preparation. As part of the project, students created informational display boards featuring pictures and key facts, while also memorizing a speech to present in character. During the Wax Museum presentations, students “came to life” as their historical and cultural figures, sharing important moments and achievements with visitors. The project provided an engaging and memorable learning experience that strengthened students’ research, public speaking, and presentation skills while celebrating the influence of these impactful individuals.
