The Edgerton Branch Library provides many great programs to the public! Here is the March schedule of the regular programming that takes place at the library.
Several different weekly programs for children are offered. On Tuesdays from 6:00 to 6:30 pm, the library holds “Toddler Time” which is a story time for kids ages 2 to 5 years old. On designated Wednesdays, different age groups will meet from 3:00 to 4:00 pm throughout the month for the Lego Club. Scheduled meetings in March are on the 09th for kids in Kindergarten only. On March 16th grades 1st and 2nd will meet. Lego Club for grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th will be held on March 30th.

The Adult Book Club, “Open Horizons” meets the second Tuesday of each month. On Tuesday, March 08th at 7:00 pm, “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot will be discussed. If you are interested in joining the club, stop by the library and pick up a copy of the next book to be discussed. All are welcome to join!
Introduce your child to something new when you check out Book Bundles from the Edgerton Branch Library! Book bundles are made up of 4 to 5 books on a specific topic picked by our librarians and can be checked out just like other books. The bundles are a great way have your child explore topics they may have previously ignored, such as: Dinosaurs, Birthdays, Bedtimes, Farms and many more! There will be new topics bundled throughout the month of March so there will always be something new to discover.

The Edgerton Branch Library will be holding a “Canvas and Cookies!” Painting Class on Tuesday, March 15 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. This class will have a “Abstracts: Bursts of Color and Texture” theme and is for kids in grades 1st through 6th. Cost will be $15.00 and class size is limited to 15 kids. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

On Friday, March 18th the Edgerton Branch Library will be holding “Bingo for Books” from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Winners who get a Bingo get to choose a free book! This event is open to school-age kids and is limited to 20 participants.

The Edgerton Branch Library is located at 319 North Michigan Avenue. For more information or to sign up for any of these events, please call the library at 419-298-3230.
