Jim and Jean Wagoner and the Swanton Public Library welcome the public to Old-Fashioned Day at the Brailey Train Depot. This annual day of old-time fun will be held Saturday, June 18 from 11 am till 3 pm. Refreshments will be available for a donation.
Guests can try stilts, play chess, dip candles, watch a working blacksmith, make rope, press apples, taste cider, grind corn, taste cornbread, create a rag doll and tour the restored depot. All donations benefit the Swanton Public Library.
To get to the Brailey Depot go west of Swanton on Airport Hwy., turn left on Co. Rd. 3, and head south to Brailey. The depot is on the right at 5629 Co. Rd. 3. Parking is next door at the Brailey Church parking lot.
