Williams County Board Holds Quick Meeting

The Williams County Board of Commissioners met briefly Monday, June 13, and approved three resolutions.
The board approved requests to transfer funds by Engineer Todd Roth and the Sheriff.
Roth needed to transfer $4,300 to non-capital assets, while the sheriff needed to move $3,415 to pay for a DARE trailer and $15,000 from unappropriated Contractual Services for concealed weapons.
The board approved a proposal from Frontier Communication for an Avaya IP Office systems for the Title Office at an amount not to exceed $10,094.55.
The board approved the appointment of T. Luke James as a special prosecuting attorney for the Williams County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. The request came from Prosecutor Katherine J. Zartman. Luke will serve without compensation except for expenses, in Common Pleas Court.
