The Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, in collaboration with Doug Engle, the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force, and Williams, Defiance, Henry, and Fulton County Health Commissioners announced an alert regarding the sale of the drug fentanyl to individuals who mistakenly believed they were purchasing heroin. Fentanyl is lethal, causing frequent overdoses, trouble breathing, and immediate death. Recently, pure fentanyl has been sold as heroin.
The Four County Board, MAN Unit, and county health departments urge individuals and family members of heroin users to be aware of this lethal development in our area.
