Joe Jencks will perform “Songs to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable” at West Bethesda on Thursday, August 18th at 7:00 pm.

Beginning our 7th year and after hosting some 70 concerts of mostly original music we’ve decided to give you a musical treat! Joe Jencks will draw from some of the great songwriters of the 50’s and 60’s such as Woody Guthrie, Phil Ochs and Bob Dylan. You will hear familiar songs from your youth. And songs that carry a strong message.

You will have the opportunity to remember just how powerful music can be.

Joe has performed 3 times at West Bethesda. He has a powerful voice and is an incredibly talented guitarist. Known for his support of social justice causes Joe performs a large and varied repertoire of music. This will be a fun concert….bring a friend.
