Golf Score Summary – August 9th, 2016

AUGUST 9TH SUMMARY
Fairview was the winner of a tri-match with Montpelier and North Central recently.

The Apaches won the match with a stroke total of 187. Their total was just five strokes ahead of the second place Eagles. North Central was led by David Pinc’s round of 40.

One stroke behind was Chace Boothman with 41. Other Eagle’s golfers included Allyson Hutchison (53), Brock Zuver (58), Landon Patten (60) and Evan Livengood (65).

Montpelier was third with a total of 217 strokes. Aaron Stoy and Tyler Rupp shared top honors for the Locomotives with a pair of 48s. Garrett Witte swung for a 58 as Roman Sommer (63) and Braden Saneholtz (71) rounded out the Montpelier scoring.


The Delta Panthers finished 17th in the 21-team Maumee Invitational Golf Tournament with a team total of 380 strokes. Jay Vann was low man for the Panthers with an 87. Also finishing were Drew Mattin and Chris Brick (96), Chase Sandusky (101), Brady Wymer (108), Cole Mattin (114). Bowling Green scored a blistering 298 to win the tournament.
