A West Unity man was sentenced on September 2, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Jacob Hamp, age 29, previously pled guilty to Permitting Drug Abuse. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman, on or about November 13, 2015, Mr. Hamp permitted his vehicle to be used for the commission of a felony drug abuse offense. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Hamp to one year of community control. He ordered Mr. Hamp to serve five days in CCNO, pay prosecution costs and counsel fees, not consume or possess alcohol or illegal drugs, not enter bars or taverns, obtain a GED, and be evaluated by Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio and successfully complete treatment if recommended. His driver’s license was also suspended for 6 months, with occupational and treatment driving privileges. Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Mr. Hamp serving six months in prison.
An Archbold, Ohio man was sentenced on September 7, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Jon Ordway, age 34, previously pled guilty to Aggravated Possession of Drugs. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman, on or about March 19, 2016, Mr. Ordway possessed methamphetamine. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Ordway to serve ten months in prison, to be served concurrently with a 30-month reserved prison term imposed upon him in Williams County. The Court ordered that Mr. Ordway pay any fees, all prosecution costs, and court appointed counsel fees. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.
A Montpelier man was sentenced on September 7, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Jason S. Stull, age 31, previously pled guilty to Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Possession of Drugs. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman, on or about May 5, 2015, Mr. Stull possessed oxycodone and diazepam. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Stull to two years of community control. He ordered Mr. Stull to serve 66 days in CCNO, pay prosecution costs and counsel fees, not consume or possess alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, not enter bars or taverns, obtain a GED, successfully complete the SEARCH Program and any aftercare, seek and maintain employment, and abide by an 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM curfew. His driver’s license was suspended for six months, with occupational and treatment driving privileges. Mr. Stull was ordered to report to CCNO on September 14, 2016 at 8:00 AM. Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Mr. Stuff serving 11 months in prison.
