WE ARE A NETWORK FOR YOUTH WHO ARE ACTIVE IN MAKING POSITIVE LIFE DECISIONS.

The Ohio Youth-Led Prevention Network (OYLPN) is a program of Drug Free Action Alliance and consists of youth-led substance abuse prevention providers and youth across the state who are committed to the cornerstones of youth-led prevention, peer prevention, positive youth development and community service. The OYLPN was formed to build upon and expand partnerships between youth-led substance abuse prevention programs in order to develop and strengthen Ohio’s youth-led substance abuse prevention efforts at both the state and local levels. If you would like more information about OYLPN and how you can participate, visit www.drugfreeactionalliance.org/oylpn.

The Youth Advisory Council is the youth-led prevention initiative of Healthy Choices Caring Communities (HC3) and is comprised of Fulton County high school students. There are currently 50 students serving in YAC with a nine-member Youth Leadership Board that is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating YAC’s monthly meetings and county-wide youth events. YAC members meet monthly to develop and strengthen their leadership skills and implement county-wide youth events such as the “Color Your Life” Color Run, Stomping Grounds, a 5th quarter style event, and #WhatsYourChoice for middle school students. For additional information about YAC, please visit www.HC3Partnership.org and click Youth Advisory Council.

Healthy Choices Caring Communities, an initiative of the Fulton County Family & Children First Council, is a group of community members working together to prevent and reduce underage substance use in Fulton County. To become a member of the HC3, or for more information about the program visit www.HC3Partnership.org or contact Beth Thomas, Program Director, at 419-337-0915.
