Edgerton has hired Poggemeyer Design Group to update water and sewer line maps.

The Village Council approved the agreement for $500. PDG will provide professional engineering for the village to update the existing water and sanitary sewer service maps. The work will be completed within two weeks of the executed agreement.

The council also approved contracting with Poggemeyer to complete lead and copper distribution mapping to keep the village in compliance with Ohio EPA HB 512 which requires communities to identify and map distribution systems and/or single buildings for lead and copper service lines. This information is due by March 9.

Council approved the purchase of a 1 -Ferris IS 3200, fuel injected, 72-inch mid-mount with an independent suspension system for the parks department from Tom’s Lawn Care in Bryan. The original cost is $13,124, but the village has been offered the mower for $10,249.

The village received quotes from four different businesses, and believe this mower is the best buy for its needs.

Council approved a two-year trash contract with Republic Service.

The new contract is effective June. Trash service will increase by 28 cents per month to $11.53.

The council approved the first reading of Resolution 2017-01 allowing Village Administrator Dawn Fitzcharles to represent the town on committees for the AMP Board of Directors.
