Edon Bancorp Holds Annual Meeting For Shareholders

The 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Edon Bancorp, Inc. was held on Tuesday morning February 28th, at the Edon Office with 86% of the 150,000 issued and outstanding shares represented in person or by proxy.

Lee Dick, President, reported on the performance and activities of the wholly owned subsidiary bank, The Edon State Bank Company, of Edon, Ohio during 2016. At year-end the bank’s assets/liabilities were $62,053,000.00; total deposits were $51,306,000.00; and net loans were $18,168,000.00.

The shareholders of Edon Bancorp, Inc. elected Jody L. Bidlack, Keith E. Crowl, David J. Curry, Larry W. Dewire, Lee Dick, David C. Newcomer and Estel Wyrick, Jr. as the directors for Edon Bancorp, Inc. The same directors were appointed by the President of Edon Bancorp, Inc. as directors to the wholly owned subsidiary bank, The Edon State Bank Company, of Edon, Ohio. Officers elected to Edon Bancorp, Inc. and to The Edon State Bank Company, of Edon, Ohio are as follows: Lee Dick, President; Estel Wyrick, Jr., Chairman of the Board; Larry W. Dewire, Vice Chairman of the Board; Jody L. Bidlack, Vice President; Estel Wyrick, Jr., Secretary-Treasurer; Susan A. Long, Cashier; Jennifer L. Hays Internal Compliance Auditor (Edon State Bank Co. only) Lucinda C. Osborn and Jennifer L. Hays, Assistant Cashiers (Edon State Bank Co. only).
