The Board of Williams County Commissioners approved the following resolutions at its meeting March 30.
The board approved a request from Springfield Township to place Ditch 732 under permanent county maintenance.
The commissioners held a public hearing on the reports, plans, and schedules of the County Engineer, on the estimated assessments, on claims for compensation or damages and on the proceedings for Ditch 732.
Affected residents will pay a minimum assessment of $20 per parcel per year and a maximum assessment of $125 per acre per year.
The board approved the following supplemental appropriations:
$100.41 for workers comp chargebacks for the auditor – REA
$17,898 for Capital Assets-Computer and Software for EMA/911 computers.
$9.48 for Remittance to the state by the Common Pleas Court for a worker’s compensation refund returned to the state.
The board approved a resolution approving an appointment to Board of Developmental Disabilities. Tanya Robarge will fill out the remaining term of Tim Puckett who stepped down recently. Robarge’s term will be March 27, 2017 through Dec. 31, 2018. Robarge was recommended for the seat by Superintendent Deb Guilford of Williams County Board of DD.

The commissioners also approved a permit by Wesley United Methodist Men to use Courthouse property for the 33rd Annual Chicken Dinner.
The event will be at the southeast Quarter June 7.
