Alen W. Keller (1968-2013)

OBIT - KELLERAlen W. Keller, 45, of Montpelier passed away Wednesday night at home. A lifelong resident of Williams County, he was born September 24, 1968 in Montpelier to Daniel Joseph and Roberta Ann (Williams) Keller. Alen attended North Central High School. On January 2, 1999 he married Teresa Schoonover in Edon, and she survives.

Alen worked in the shipping department at Arrow Tru Line in Bryan for 17 years. He was a member of the Montpelier and Bryan Eagles. Alen was a very talented guitar player and played in numerous Rock Bands in the surrounding area. He enjoyed being outside, taking care of his lawn. Alen also had a love for automobiles and was a big fan of NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife Teresa, three daughters Tenika S. Roehrs of Bryan, Heather (Corey, Sr.) Mitchell of Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Calista Garza of Bryan; one son Cameron Garza of Bryan; three grandchildren Teagan Daniels, Corey Mitchell, Jr., and Corbin Mitchell; three brothers, Joe (Brenda) Keller of Edon, Greg Keller of Montpelier and Jeff (Laura) Keller of Montpelier; and two sisters Angelia Simpson of Montpelier and Shanon (Bill) Strauss of Montpelier.

Alen was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Keller.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday November 3rd at 1pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montpelier. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
