Alleen Fay McKnight, age 84, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Fulton Manor, Wauseon, Ohio. She was born March 14, 1935 in Wauseon, Ohio to the late Earl and Vera (Doriot) McKeever.
She married Roscoe McKnight, Jr. on November 27, 1953 and he preceded her in death in November 1978. Alleen was a lifelong homemaker and member of Church of the Master United Methodist Church, Wauseon, Ohio.
She was also a member of the Elks, Order of the Eastern Star and Wauseon VFW. She enjoyed her grandchildren, loved music and playing in the Wauseon High School Band and performing with her sisters in the McKeever Sisters Group.
Survivors include her daughters, Colleen (Peter) Roumell, Cement City, Michigan, Deborah (Craig) Bigelow, Crystal, Michigan and Kathy (Jack) Wells, Liberty Center, Ohio. 14 grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren. Sisters and brother, Barbara, Lois, Joyce, Ruth and John. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Michael and David.
Friends may call for a time of visitation with the McKnight family, 6:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio. Friends may also call 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Pastor Ben Sheaffer will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Highland Memorial Gardens.
