What do you get when ten pounds of peanut butter are mixed with sixteen pounds of powdered sugar and butter and then coated with milk chocolate? Why, Buckeyes, of course! Yes, it’s that time of year again to make your way to the Edon Public Library and purchase these delicious homemade candies. Members of the Friends of the Edon Public Library Buckeye-making Crew ~ Krista Miller (front), Kay Gearhart, George Michel, Sue Trausch, Carole Arbuthnot, Sue Seaman, LaRue Reitzel and Sherrie Kaiser, Carol Buck and Gretchen Mauerhan, want to remind everyone the exclusive treats are available from now until gone ~ cost is just one dollar per Ohio State or Michigan-decorated bag of three. Proceeds from the annual fundraiser will be used for upcoming Friends of the Edon Public Library projects and programs.
