The male Athlete of the Week is Fayette golfer and cross country runner Wyatt Mitchell. After finishing second in the BBC Player of the Year standings, the senior fired a 78 at the Division III sectionals to take fourth place and advance to the district tournament.
On the cross country side, he has finished in the top 10 of Fayette’s seven invitationals so far this season including first place finishes at the Fayette and Edgerton Invitationals.
