Bomber fans near and far turned up in force on a pleasant August evening to support the Edon Athletic Boosters Annual Reverse Drawing. After enjoying a delicious dinner of Pettisville Meats entrées ~ served cafeteria-style by Edon student-athletes ~ guests began settling in at the Community Building for a night filled with loads of fun and spirited conversations.
With just five ticket holders making it to the “big bucks” closing moments, others were winners of additional cash prizes (one thousand eighty dollars) and two Sport Passes given away by Edon Athletic Boosters throughout the drawing. Supporters also tested their luck by purchasing chances to win the 50/50 Board and “Heads or Tails” Cash challenges or by bidding on donated prizes and “yet-to-be-called” tickets. Without question, MC Shane Sumner kept things lively and moving along, leaving no room for boredom as everyone wanted to be a big winner!
While anticipation escalated, the “final four” were brought forward to wait for the last remaining tickets to be pulled by Boosters President Tina Parrish. Top money winners finally revealed were:
