Samuel Mancino’s in Archbold will close later this spring after 25 years in business, according to an announcement shared by owner Rita McQuillin.
McQuillin said the restaurant will remain open through May 29, 2026, as it marks 25 years in business. The closure comes as the current lease expires in June, and she has chosen not to renew it.
She added that the coming months will focus on gratitude and celebration as the restaurant finishes its remaining time in business.
McQuillin thanked customers and employees who have been part of the business over the years. She also encouraged customers to redeem any gift cards, gift certificates, and loyalty cards on or before May 29, 2026.
The news quickly drew reactions on social media, with community members expressing disappointment over the pending closure.
For now, Samuel Mancino’s will continue serving customers through the end of May as the business prepares to close out its 25-year run in the community.
