Barbara Ann Doerr, age 73, of Bryan, passed away at Bryan Care & Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Barbara worked at Best Bakery in West Unity and a cabinet shop in Union City, Michigan before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she worked as an airport screener and at a local bank. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles in her free time.
Barbara Ann was born on September 22, 1950 in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Earl “Bud” D. and Alma A. (Grant) Borton. She graduated from West Unity High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan
She is survived by her mother, Alma Borton, of Bryan; sisters, Linda Kirby, of West Unity, Virginia (Jim) Webb, and Sandra (Buff) Mitchell, both of Bronson, Michigan; brother, Gary (Suzi) Borton, of Delta and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Graveside services will be held at Shiffler Cemetery in the near future. Barbara’s arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
