WEST UNITY – The Cadets were 11/18 at the foul line in the fourth quarter and outscored Fayette 16-4 from the stripe in the game as they held on for a 45-43 win.
Drew Bailey had four field goals and three free throws for 11 points to lead Hilltop (5-4, 1-1 BBC) in scoring and Anthony Eckenrode added 10.
Fayette (3-7, 0-2 BBC) was fronted by 13 points from senior Wyatt Mitchell in the setback.
