BBC SOFTBALL: Montpelier’s 13-Run Inning Secures First Outright BBC Crown

Montpelier 22, North Central 2 (5 innings)

MONTPELIER – The Locos scored 13 runs in the third inning to take control as they clinched their first outright BBC title in school history with a 22-2 win over North Central.


Lyla Mahan hit for the cycle, with five RBIs and five runs scored while Madelyn Hopper had a 4-4 night at the plate with four runs knocked in for Montpelier, who shared the league title in 2023.

Emmi Hollstein had a pair of doubles to lead the Eagles hitting.
