Beverly Ann Rubley, 63, of Craig Colo., passed away Wednesday Nov. 11 2020, at her home with her loving family. She was born July 22, 1957, to the late Donald H. Snyder and to Iona (Eckel) Snyder of Swanton, who survives. Beverly met Nicholas F. Rubley on Jan. 11, 1974, and married him on April 11, 1981, and he survives.
Beverly graduated from Evergreen High School and the former Four County Joint Vocational School in 1975, where she earned her cosmetology license.
She and Nick relocated to Craig, Colo., where they resided for 39 years. Beverly purchased her own beauty shop, affectionally named Reflections Hair Care, and ran it for many years until a fire destroyed the mini-strip where her shop was located. Beverly continued to do hair from her home.
She was very involved with her community and church family. Beverly kept busy baking, gardening, attending garage sales, and taking on many projects for others. She would earn money to support different groups and actually went to the mission field several times. That was her passion – helping others less fortunate. Beverly enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and catching fish when she took time for herself.
Also left to cherish her memories are her son, Matthew Rubley of Craig, Colo., her daughter, April (Tim) O’Neal of Leon, W.V.; grandchildren, Helen, Timothy, and Daniel O’Neal; brothers, Roger (Karen) Snyder of Delta and Lonnie (Linda) Snyder of Swanton; sisters, Candyce (Doug) Eicher of Delta and Vicky (William) Wiseman of Delta; and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly was also in preceded in death by her brother, Roger Synder.
She will be honored at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Grant Mortuary and Crematory, Craig, Colo.
