Today with almost 2.5 million YouTube views of past performance footage, Matthew Ball aka The Boogie Woogie Kid, is called “Michigan’s Best” in boogie-woogie, blues, and ragtime piano, and on Friday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. he’ll stop by the Williams County Public Library for a FREE family friendly concert of piano fun, with arrangements of American swing classics like Swanee river, The Entertainer, Over the Rainbow, Those were the Days, Bumble Boogie, and many more. The Williams County Public Library is located at 107 E. High St., Bryan, OH 43506.

Ball’s start in Jazz only began in 2001 after he attended a local boogie-woogie festival. He was so awestruck by the performances there, he left his career as an attorney to become a blues & boogie-woogie performing artist. With a lot of work and a little help from boogie’s hall of famer Bob Seeley, Ball joined the ranks of iconic blues masters in 2005 when headlining at the exclusive Arches Piano Stage in Cincinnati. Since then he has maintained an active calendar as The Boogie Woogie Kid.
