BOYS VARSITY SOCCER
August 20th, 2016

Rossford 4, Wauseon 2
The Indians fell in their inaugural match of the season to the Bulldogs. Wauseon’s two goals were scored by Aaron Spieles and Brandon Martinez.

Bryan 4, Paulding 1
The Golden Bears opened their regular season at home against Paulding. Goals for the Golden Bears were scored by Logan Deel (2) and Daniel Borland (2). Recording assists for Bryan were Isaac Bowers, Atland Sayarath, and Bleus Creek (2).

Archbold 7, Fort Jennings 0
The Blue Streaks began their 2016 campaign off after advancing all the way to the regional finals in Division III in 2015. They did not miss a beat as they finished with 19 shots on goal and held the Musketeers to 0 shot on goal. Leading scorers for the Streaks included: Austin Welch (2), Josh Kidder (2), Luke McQuade, Andrew Hogrefe and Clay Gerig each with one.

Lake 4, Pettisville1
The Blackbirds came up short in their season opener. The lone Pettisville goal was scored by Landon Roth.
