The Bryan Area Foundation has given the YMCA a $500,000 gift toward its $2.5 million Capital Campaign to expand and renovate the facility. This is the largest grant the foundation has given. The renovations include a first floor cardio and strength training room, a children’s indoor play area, a group exercise studio, a new multi-purpose room and new lockers as well as an elevator that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
