BRYAN CITY SCHOOLS BOARD OF EDUCATION: Board Handles Light Agenda In September Meeting

The Bryan City Schools Board of Education held their regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at 6 p.m.

In attendance were members Scott Benedict, Deb Opdycke, Dustin Schlachter, and Caleb Turnbull.

After the minutes of the July 17, 2023 meeting were accepted as presented, the financial recommendations detailed in the treasurer’s report were accepted as presented, including a donation from BMU Video Equipment.

All superintendent recommendations were approved as presented, including early graduate and personnel recommendations.


The board shared that they would be meeting next at 6 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2023 before entering into executive session at 6:11 p.m. for matters related to personnel appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, compensation, or complaints against an employee, official, licensee, or student.
