Bryan Girls Tennis Places Five on All-District Team

November 9, 2020Updated:December 31, 2020No Comments1 Min Read

The Ohio Tennis Coaches Association announced its All-District Team this week and Bryan captured a large share of the honors this year.

Reese Grothaus and Emillee Bassett were named First Team All-District for their incredible run to State while Kaitlyn Posey was named Second Team All-District for her outstanding season. Haylee Wheeler and Brooke Taylor were given All-District Honorable Mention for their efforts this year at doubles.

This is the first year Bryan has had 5 of their 7 starters named to the All-District Team.

“I am proud of our team accomplishments this year, and it’s fitting that we had so many individuals recognized by the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association for their individual achievements. What’s even more exciting for me as a coach is that we have all of them coming back next year.”

“This is a very determined group of girls, and I know they will be motivated to exceed the high expectations heading into next season,” stated Bryan Tennis coach Mitchell Owens.
