Jay Clark, 41, of Bryan and Ashley Hoath, 27, of Hillsdale have been arrested on charges related to the death of Jeremy Alan Barron, 37, of Hillsdale.

Clark is facing charges of open murder, mutilation and concealing of a human body, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of methamphetamines. He is being held without bond.

Hoath has been charged as an accessory to murder and for providing false statements to the police. Her bond has been set at $50,000.

Both will be arraigned on April 19 in the Hillsdale District Court.
The charges are in connection to the murder of Barron, whose body was found in a wooded area in Camden Township on April 2 by two children horseback riding. At the time of his death Barron, himself, had also been wanted by the sheriff’s department for criminal bench warrants.

Autopsy reports have concluded the cause of death to be gunshot wounds.
