Bryan Municipal Utilities Promotes Derek Schultz To Water Superintendent

Bryan Board of Public Affairs approved the recommendation to promote Derek Schultz to Water Superintendent effective November 30, 2020.  Derek has served as the Water Treatment Supervisor since 2013, possesses an Ohio EPA Class III water supply license, a valid Operator Training Committee of Ohio Backflow certification and an Ohio EPA Microbiological analyst certification.

Derek has worked in the water industry, including treatment, supply, and distribution for 20 years, serves as BMU’s Ohio EPA Operator of Record and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction engineering technology.
