Sharon Lunseth, from the Indiana Button Society, will present a program on buttons from biblical times to the present, at the Edon Branch Library on Wednesday, October 19th at 5:30 pm.

Throughout the years, it has long been a common practice to snip buttons from worn out clothes. These buttons were then passed down through generations. Learn the history of these miniature works of art with Sarah, who will bring a display of beautiful and unique examples. Please bring your collection to share as well!

If you are a collector who is interested in selling a bulk collection, please bring your buttons to the event. The Indiana Button Society will either purchase your collection, or direct you to other selling options.

The Edon Branch Library is located at 105 South Michigan Street. To learn more, please call the library at 419-272-2839.
