Celebrate the magic of Fairy Tales at the Bryan Main Library with special programming all through the month of February!

The Children’s Dept. will be holding themed story times based on tales such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Three Little Pigs, Jacks and the Beanstalk, and more. Story time is held weekly on Tuesdays at 11:00 am and 6:30 pm. Stop by the library and pick up a calendar for the full schedule.

The Adult Dept. invites teens ages 10 to 15 years old to a “Fairy Tale Battle” on Friday, February 19th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. It is an epic twist of the Fairy Tales you already know and the ultimate battle of Good vs. Evil! This time you will decide the outcome! Are you the child of Happily Ever After or are you a villain hoping to conquer Good once and for all? The Bryan Main Library will not be able to take phone calls during the program. All parental arrangements should be made prior to the event. Sign up at the library or call the Adult Desk at 419-636-6734 ext. 221.

On Saturday, February 27 everyone is welcome to celebrate one of the most beloved fairy tales of all time with a special viewing of the new live action Cinderella feature film (rated PG). The movie will begin at 7:00 pm and doors will open 15 minutes prior to show time. All ages are invited to this family program but space is limited to 100 people. Movie attendees must sign up at the Children’s Desk or call 419-636-6734 ext. 221 or 223 to reserve your spot.

The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street. All programs are free to the public. For more information on fairy tale month programming, please contact Ajay Johnson at 419-636-6734 ext. 222.
