The annual United Way of Fulton County fundraiser was held at the Delta American Legion on Saturday evening. Approximately 125 tickets were sold for the “Cheers for Charity” dinner, auction and entertainment filled evening.

A local Heidelberg distributor brought their wares of craft beers and wines for tasting. Lee Warren, local entertainer, supplied the tunes on his acoustic guitar for the evening and Linda Hines catered the dinner.

Over $8,000 in merchandise for raffle were donated from local restaurants, businesses and private donations for items for services, dinners, specialty products and homemade décor items to benefit United Way.

The United Way of Fulton County is a non-profit community helper that has been serving Fulton County by giving to various organizations with assistance in charitable contributions. United Way contributions come from corporate campaigns, private individual donations and donations from companies and corporations throughout Fulton County.

The United Way donations are allocated to programs and agencies within five focus areas: Education, Income, Health, Essential Services, and Community Building.
