Chris Brown, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Evergreen Healthcare Center, Montpelier, Ohio.
On May 29, 1954, Chris was born to the late Donald A. and Maxine F. (Oxely) Brown. He graduated from Bryan High School, the class of 1973.
Chris worked at Spangler Candy Company for over 30 years as a pipe fitter. On July 3, 1993, he married Velda (Biniak) Brown, and she survives.
Chris enjoyed spending quality time with his family, had a passion for tackling home projects, whether it was construction, restorations, or automotive work. After a long day of hands-on work, nothing satisfied him more than kicking back with an ice-cold Pepsi.
He is survived by his wife; sons; Gregory (April) Brown, Christopher (Jessica) Brown and Toby (Kristina) Brown; stepdaughter, Kimber (Jason) Jones; stepsons, Nathan Biniak and Curtis Biniak; grandchildren, Kalyn (Taylor) Budde, Braleigh Addington, Allison (Fiancé Garrett) Brown, Reese (Alyssa) Brown, Olivia Brown, Brayden Brown, Addalynn Biniak, Evelyn Biniak; siblings, Linda (George) Nailor and Larry (Jaci) Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, From 4-6 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Dave Nicholls officiating.
