Christina Marie Potts, age 51, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Oct. 9, 2019, at Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by her family.
Christina was born April 9, 1968, at Wauseon, Ohio, to Rose (Lonny) Bowles and Raymond Friery. She went to Edon Schools and graduated from Grace Baptist Academy. She loved people and went on to be a waitress, working in many local establishments.
Doug and Chris did a lot of traveling, something they both enjoyed, taking summer vacations at the beach with all the family. They gave their time helping different organizations to raise money for different events. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren.
Christina is survived by her soul mate of 15 years, Douglas Cargle; her daughter, Elizabeth Spicer (Rob Roy); Amanda (Tim) Mcgray; her brother, Rick (Trish) Friery; eight grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nolan, Evan, Mason, Ali, Brianna, Kaytlyn and Logan; several special aunts, cousins and good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Friery; brother, Raymond Jr. Friery; and daughter, Loni Potts.
There will be a service at Grace Community Church, Friday, Oct. 18, from 5-8 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. As was Christina’s wish, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
Memorials are requested to the family to offset costs for the service and medical expenses.
