Christina-Kroeckel-WEBChristina R. Kroeckel, 36 years, of Defiance passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance. Christina was born on August 21, 1979 in Bryan, Ohio to Rick Goldfuss and Cheryl Pollock. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants in Virginia before moving back to Defiance and working at Defiance Metal Products. Christina was a member of the North Mount Zion Church in Continental. In her free time she enjoyed bowling and spending time with her friends and children.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Cheryl (Terry) Rickels of Continental, Ohio; father, Rick Goldfuss of Bristol, Tennessee; two daughters, Rebecca M. Moore and her fiancé Christopher Hansen of Findlay, Ohio, Konstance N. Moore of Defiance, Ohio; one granddaughter, Jennifer Hansen; four sisters, Mickie (Erik) Birr of Defiance, Ohio, Martha Gordon of Continental, Ohio, Brittany Goldfuss of Van Wert, Ohio, and Amber Wright and her fiancé Decoda Blake of Continental, Ohio; one brother, Steven (Kathrine) Kroeckel of Defiance, Ohio; grandparents, Patricia Goldfuss of Defiance, Ohio, Howard Wright of Carabou, Maine, and Charlotte Pollock of Napoleon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Embry and Mercedes Owens, grandparents, Herman Goldfuss, Martha Wright, and Harold Pollock.

Visitation for Christina R. Kroeckel will be held Friday, November 21, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2015 at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Ted Pollock and Reverend Tony Pollock officiating. Interment will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio
