Christopher Allen Litwiller, 44, of rural Fayette, died Thursday, September 6, 2018, the result of a motorcycle accident in Gorham Township. Born November 8, 1973, in Mount Pleasant, MI, he was the oldest son of Howard and Lorraine (Mead) Litwiller.

Chris lived his early life in Michigan, and married Jackie Cowgill of Archbold on October 4, 1997. He and Jackie made their home in Fayette a few years later. Chris worked as a plumber at Elden-Roth in Archbold for over 10 years, before more recently serving as a licensed electrician for Wyse Electric, also of Archbold. He was a member of the IBEW Local 8 Union in Rossford, OH.

Chris is remembered as a man who valued hard work, and possessed many talents that he put to use in fixing just about anything. An auto enthusiast, he loved cars, trucks and motorcylces. He also enjoyed the hobbies of fishing and gardening, and he occasionally liked to cook for his family.

Surviving to mourn his unexpected loss are his wife, Jackie; his mother, Lorraine Payne of Coldwater, MI; father, Howard Litwiller of FL; three children, Devon Litwiller of Archbold, Chelsie Litwiller of Fayette, and Hailey McNally of Fayette; a brother, Curtiss Alvin Litwiller of Coldwater, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, September 10, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette. Private family burial will take place in the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider monetary donations to Chris’s family. Friends can share memories and words of comfort with the family online at www.eaglefuneralhomes.com.

My sincere sympathy to the family. I remember lots of laughs, I love his since of humor. And family get-to-gathers. Also relaxing around A fire. He once helped Curt fix my yard light because Gary wouldn’t climb the light poll. What A nice helpful guy. Thanks for the laughs and the help Chris. Always remembered. May God Bless You.
