Column: IS IT REALLY SO? – Examples Of Our Creator’s Daily Work

Our red blood cells (RBC) wear out in about 120 days, requiring our Creator to design a system to sort, select and precisely assemble over 9,800 quadrillion correct atoms every second, 24/7 to replace the worn-out and damaged red blood cells.

For a 150-pound male, about 2.3 million new RBCs are manufactured every second of his life.

And RBCs are just one of over 200 cell types in our body, each of which must be assembled properly to replace worn-out or damaged cells.

Each RBC contains about 280 million molecules of hemoglobin. Each molecule of hemoglobin is constructed out of close to 10,000 properly assembled atoms.

This equals 6,440,000,000,000,000,000 (6,440 quadrillion) correct atoms assembled per second, 24/7, for a 150-pound male (2,300,000 x 280,000,000 x 10,000).

These atoms have to be separated from millions of other atoms in our bloodstream that were absorbed from our digestive system. They then have to be sorted and precisely assembled into functioning red blood cells.

According to the American Red Cross, the chemical formula for a human hemoglobin molecule is: C2952H4664N8120O832S8Fe4. This equals 16,580 atoms selected and precisely assembled for each molecule of the 280,000,000 hemoglobin molecules in each of the 2,300,000 red blood cells, which are assembled every second for a 150-pound male.

(To obtain the number of correct atoms your Creator is assembling every second to replace your worn-out red blood cells, put your weight in pounds over 150 x 6,400 quadrillion).

And this is less than half the work required because the source of the molecules used to assemble RBCs, i.e., food, must be assembled from the soil for your next second’s supply of atoms.

And the fact that we throw away or recycle many parts of the plant we don’t use, such as the roots and leaves, requires more plants to be produced than is consumed by humans and other life that use blood.

This illustrates the enormous super-intelligent work and care required for every second of every day by our Creator for each human, and also, for every life-form living on Earth.

All cell parts have to be carefully constructed by the plan orchestrated by our DNA. Furthermore, our DNA is constructed from four bases (Adenine, C5 H5 N5; Guanine, C5 H5 N5 O1; Cytosine, C4 H5 N3 O1; and Thymine, C5 H6 N2 O2) that must be assembled precisely.

Notice that the exact assembly is required in each DNA molecule for life to exist. No deviations, even minor ones, are allowed. The difference between the Adenine and Guanine molecules is one single oxygen atom for Guanine compared to Adenine.

Then over 3,000,000,000 (three billion) pairs of these bases have to be precisely arranged in the correct sequence to produce the coordinated instructions to operate up to 40 molecular machines in each of our 100 trillion cells.

Life cannot exist until all of the four DNA molecules are complete and functional. Evolution works by mutations changing the DNA, but until the completed DNA molecule and its supporting system exist, life cannot exist.

Furthermore, the vast majority of mutations are deleterious, therefore they will never produce life; an enormous problem that has stymied scientists for generations.

Our students deserve to be taught this information in school. My creationist colleagues and I have had no problem presenting this information in public school classrooms in Canada, Germany, Sweden, Peru, the Philippines, Fiji, and other nations.

Only in America it cannot be taught. The courts have ruled in over 200 cases that this, and similar information that rules out goo-to-you evolution, cannot be presented in public school classrooms.

Our students deserve to be taught this scientific reality regarding life, its origin, and its complex design. Presently our public schools do not educate but rather indoctrinate into the materialistic secular framework.

For the past century and a half, Darwinism has been taught in America as the explanation for all life. The reason is to separate students from their creator. For this reason, the above information has not been taught in American schools.

Without God, there would be no cells, no food, and no life. Darwin’s theory of evolution has now been factually falsified for both the origin and design of life.

Scientists have been attempting to construct a living cell out of chemical elements and, so far, after 80 years of trying, they have not come anywhere close to achieving this feat.

I am indebted to Canadian Tom Rogers, (Canada allows teaching this information in their schools) for his detailed research required to produce this article.

I must add that Rogers used very credible peer reviewed scientific sources in completing the story of red blood cells and DNA.
