Never Let Go Ministries hosted its 15th Annual Cruise-In and 5th annual Fall Fest on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The community event aims to raise awareness and funds to fight the effects of drug and alcohol abuse while bringing people together for a day of fun and reflection.
Ohio currently ranks fourth in the nation for drug overdose deaths, with more than 110,000 lives lost to overdoses and 95,000 to alcohol-related deaths across the United States last year.
Never Let Go Ministries, a nonprofit organization, works to make a difference locally by fostering drug-free communities, educating young people about the dangers of substance abuse, supporting families, and aiding those in recovery.
The Cruise-In and Fall Fest featured 110 classic cars, trophies, a bake sale, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and a large raffle with an assortment of prizes.
Winnings included a $500 beef bundle from Black Label Farm Market, a car detail and oil change from Jim Schmidt Family of Dealerships, a $250 Walmart gift card, a Michael Kors purse, and many more.
Raffle tickets were priced at $10 each or three for $20, with proceeds directly supporting Never Let Go Ministries’ programs.
Community involvement is a cornerstone of the event. The Edgerton High School choir opened the festivities with the National Anthem. Additionally, Kathy Minck donated hand-painted inspirational rocks for sale, with all proceeds benefiting the organization.
The Edgerton Historical Society opened its doors from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. during the event as well. A wide variety of vendors and a face-painting station was available for people of all ages to enjoy.
Never Let Go Ministries emphasizes that every contribution, no matter the size, helps advance their mission. Sponsorship opportunities remain available, and donors were recognized on event boards next to the raffle.
The organization expressed gratitude to the community’s past support, noting that generous donors and sponsors have allowed meaningful impact to be made each year.
