Central Mennonite’s Tempestuous Tops 2026 NW Ohio Bible Quiz Season

CENTRAL MENNONITE WINS 2026 BIBLE QUIZ SEASON … A team from Central Mennonite of Archbold called Tempestuous won the 14-team league, going 25-1, with team members, front row, from left, Landon Ringenberg, Bo King, Mason Stuckey, and Drew Ringenberg. A King’s Cross team, Remnant, of Defiance, went 22-4 with team members, second row, from left, Max Grunden, Mackenzie Yenser, Gideon Banfield, and Elijah Grunden. Third place was North Clinton’s team from Wauseon, Charged, 21-5, with team members, third row, from left, Emma Short, Keren Maldonado, Lucas Maldonado, and Levi Short. Rounding out the top four was Pettisville Missionary’s team, Unknown, 20-6, with team members, back row, from left, Kinley Gardner, Janna Burkholder, Mollie Roth, Cooper Roth, and Elijah Bloomer. Placing fifth and sixth were two teams from Eastland Baptist of Bryan: Voyagers, 19-7, and Riverside, 16-9-1.



THE TOP 25 SCORERS OF THE NW OHIO BIBLE QUIZ SEASON … Top individual honors went to, front row, from left, Drew Ringenberg from Central Mennonite and Hope Sheldon from Eastland Baptist, both quizzing out in all 26 matches and scoring 910 points. Following were Elijah Grunden, 895; Bo King, 880; and Gideon Banfield, 865. Second row: Landon Ringenberg, 820; Ben Mosier, 815; Levi Short, 785; Cael Neilson, 770; Cooper Roth, 770; and Josiah Gardner, 765. Third row: Mason Stuckey, 760; Max Grunden, 760; Emma Short, 755; Mathias Neilson, 755; Elijah Sheldon, 740; Elijah Bloomer, 730; and Mercy Sheldon, 705. Back row: Keren Maldonado, 695; Peyton Richer, 685; Mollie Roth, 680; Liam Hagaman, 680; Elijah Schmidt, 670; Julia Burkholder, 665; and Ishai Mosier, 660. Each of these Bible scholars received a trophy to remember their successful 2026 Bible Quiz season.
