MONTPELIER – The Locos churned out 15 hits led by a 4-4 night from winning pitcher Kenneth Smeltzer as they held off Hicksville 10-6 for a sectional title.

Montpelier will take on North Central in the first Division IV semifinal of the night on May 22 at Recreation Park in Bryan.
