DELTA – The Delta Panthers 8th grade football team recently wrapped a historic junior high career as they went 16-0 over two years.

The perfect record earned the Panthers, who have not lost since the fifth grade, back-to-back NWOAL titles and made them the first team in Delta football history to go undefeated in both years of junior high.

“They are a hardworking gritty group that loves the game of football. They are most successful in my opinion due to their care for each other and the team concept.”

“The final result of winning is what motivates them as a group”, commented coach Mark Nagel, who has coached this group the past two seasons.

“Overall, there is no limit of success this class can have if they continue to put in the work and stick together! Their coaches are very proud of them and believe they will do great things in years to come!” added Nagel.
