On Friday, September 26, 2025 Delta High School wrapped up a week full of activities with the presentation of the homecoming court and their 2025 Homecoming Queen prior to their game with the Wauseon Indians.
For the first time ever, Delta introduced into their court a 2025 Homecoming Prince and Princess!
The Delta High School Princess was Brynn Druschel, the daughter of Dean and Maggie Druschel. Brynn is a 3rd grader, she is also active in volleyball and cheerleading and enjoys arts and crafts, singing, and spending time with friends.
Brynn is an animal lover, she has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 fish. Brynn is looking forward to the spring arts festival, and one day hopes to become a movie star or singer.
Brynn was escorted by Prince Jaxson Oates. Jaxson is the son of Aaron and Andrea Oates. He is a 3rd grader who is active in travel soccer, football, wrestling, baseball, and 4-H.
In his free time, he enjoys Ohio State football, riding his dirt bike, and going 4-wheeling. Jaxson is looking forward to a trip to Sauder Village this May and dreams of becoming a police officer.
The freshman attendant was Eve Smith, the daughter of Carrie Smith and Jacob Perry. She plays volleyball and plans to join basketball and softball this year, while also participating in Kindness Club, FCA, and SADD. Eve is a class officer and student council representative.
Outside school, she helps lead youth activities at Hope Church and volunteers with youth volleyball. She enjoys baking, walks, and spending time with her cats, friends, and family.
Eve hopes to study animal science and become a food animal veterinarian. So far, her favorite high school memories include playing sports, making new friends, and preparing for dances. Eve’s escort is freshman Zorn Treutle, nephew of Brian and Catlin Creps.
The sophomore attendant was Aida Alig, the daughter of Melanie Herrick and Bob Alig and is escorted tonight by her father Bob, her mother Melanie, and Jeff Herrick.
She is a two-year varsity cheerleader and member of SADD. Outside school, she is active in the Hope Church youth group.
Aida enjoys time with friends and family and helping at her church. She plans to study early education and become a teacher.
Some of her favorite memories are Friday night lights, school dances, and she is looking forward to this year’s lock-in.
Aida is thankful to her classmates for giving her this opportunity. Aida is being escorted by sophomore Marcus Nagel, son of Mark and Rachel Nagel.
The first junior attendant presented was Gigi Gibbons, the daughter of Andy and Brittany Gibbons and is escorted tonight by her mother Brittany and uncle Mark Eply.
She is a cheerleader for both football and basketball, serves as junior class secretary, and is a member of the Kindness Club, Art Club, Spanish Club, and SADD. She has also helped with musical costumes. In her free time, Gigi enjoys movies, reading, and baking.
She plans to pursue a career in writing and journalism. Her favorite memories include school dances, spirit weeks, and Mr. Freado’s end of the year project.
This year she is looking forward to prom and finishing her cheer season. Gigi’s escort is Junior Vincent Martinez, son of Reuben and Stephanie Martinez
The next junior attendant was Addison Wyse, the daughter of Ashtyn Wyse and Randy Wyse. She is being escorted tonight by her mother Ashtyn and Matt Mahnke.
Addison is a member of the varsity basketball team and also plays AAU basketball for Proday Lady Lightning.
She enjoys spending the Fourth of July at the lake, cooking, shopping, and working out. After high school, Addison hopes to attend medical school.
Her favorite high school memories include going to prom during her sophomore year and beating Archbold with her basketball team. She is especially looking forward to her upcoming basketball season. Addison’s escort tonight is her brother, sophomore Randy Wyse.
The first senior attendant was Jordinn Heinemann, the daughter of Josh and Shannon Heinemann. She plays varsity soccer, wrestling, track, and cheer.
She is active in FFA, Kindness Club, Spanish Club, FCCLA, Art Club, SADD, Prom Committee, and Student Publications, and serves as a student council representative for NHS.
Outside school, Jordinn attends Trinity Lutheran Church and participates in the youth group. She enjoys reading, baking, hanging out with friends and family, and going on coffee runs with her little cousin, Amelia Kunar.
Next year, she plans to attend BGSU to major in early childhood education with a minor in special education. Her favorite high school memories include FFA trips and dance festivities, and she thanks her family and peers for this opportunity. Jordinn’s escort tonight is her brother, junior, Hunter Heinemann.
The next senior attendant introduced was Bridget Whitaker, the daughter of Sarah Witzler and Corey Whitaker.
She is a member of the volleyball and softball teams, as well as a member of the color guard in the band, and participates in Student Council, SADD, and Kindness Club, where she serves as president.
She has appeared in three musicals, including The Addams Family, Mean Girls, and Anastasia.
Bridget enjoys spending time with friends and watching scary movies with her boyfriend. After graduation, she plans to explore career options in forensic science.
Her favorite memories include lock-ins and assemblies, and this year she is excited to meet new people and join as many activities as she can. Bridget’s escort tonight is her boyfriend, senior Brady Smith, son of Carrie Smith and Jake Perry.
The final senior attendant and 2025 Homecoming Queen was Ellie Martinez, the daughter of Miguel and Jodi Martinez.
She plays volleyball and basketball and is active in Student Council, NHS, SADD, Kindness Club, Spanish Club, and Art Club, serving as vice president in most of them.
Outside school, Ellie participates in 4-H, where she shows a dairy cow, and is a member of the Delta Church of Christ Youth Group and worship team. She enjoys movies, time with friends and family, and being with her boyfriend.
Ellie plans to study education to become a teacher. Her favorite high school memories include football games and dances, and she is especially excited for prom.
