The Delta Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship fund was renamed for Manette Seady after her passing in 2009.
She was an active member at St. Caspar Catholic Church and known as “Ms. Delta ‘’ for her dedication to our Delta Community. She worked for 28 years at Aunt Jane Foods-the old pickle factory south of town.
She served as past President of the Chamber and hosted many Citizen of the Year dinner banquets. Manette was known for her volunteerism and ability to raise money for worthy causes.
The Delta Chamber of Commerce is awarding the Manette Seady Community Service Award to a student that has exemplified community service with their involvement in activities and leadership roles.
It is our honor to award Nicholas Mazurowski with this award.
