Diana L. Gaines, 69 of Bryan, died Tuesday morning at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan. She was born on October 11th 1943 in Hicksville, Ohio to Ralph J. and Claudia L. (Rhodes) Onstott.

Diana at one time worked at Bryan Custom Plastics as a machine operator and prior to this worked at Edgerton Metals.

Diana attended the First Assembly of God in Bryan.
She is survived by three step sons Mark Gaines of Bryan, Ed Gaines of Bryan, Robert (Nora) Gaines of Bryan, two step daughters Sheila Gaines of Tekonsha, MI Tina Stanley of Jackson, MI, 11 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, two sisters Peggy (William) Dickerhoof of Edgerton, and Terrilyn (Anthony) Singer of Ney, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles E. Gaines on February 5th 2002, a son Rory Lee Gaines and a sister Brenda Taube.


Visitation hours for Diana will be on Friday from 4-8 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will be on Saturday at 11 am at the First Assembly of God in Bryan with Pastor Kevin W. Boulis to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Sunshine Children’s Home at 7223 Maumee Western Road in Maumee, Ohio 43537. Condolences may be sent online at thethompsonfuneralhome.com
