Diane Kay Gwinn-Myles, age 73, of Liberty Center, Ohio, born on May 28, 1952, in Hinton, West Virginia to Clinton and Deloris Gwinn, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026, at The Toledo Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Diane graduated in 1970 from Lake High School. Diane was a retired bus driver for Liberty Center Schools. Her commitment extended beyond her career as she helped her husband, Kenneth, operate their family farm.

Diane had a vibrant personality, with a deep love for her home state of West Virginia. She looked forward to returning to visit family and was a loyal fan of West Virginia Mountaineers football and basketball, proudly displaying her affection with a vanity license plate reading “WEST VA.”

Her love for animals, especially horses, was evident, and she often traveled with her beloved dogs. Diane enjoyed nurturing life through raising chickens and gardening, passions that brought her immense joy.

Alongside her husband, Kenneth, Diane enjoyed many adventures, including memorable bicycle trips across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and West Virginia. She also cherished quiet moments at home, never missing an episode of classic shows like “Gunsmoke” or films featuring icons such as John Wayne and Randolph Scott.

A social and warm-hearted individual, she looked forward to weekly card parties with friends and was a proud supporter of Liberty Center Tigers Football.

One of Diane’s proudest accomplishments was her marriage to Kenneth Myles on April 10, 2009, after sharing 34 joyous years together. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth, and one niece and one nephew, all of whom will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Deloris Gwinn, and her brother, Lanford “Lanny” Gwinn. Her legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and community will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, from 3-7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Heath Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Humane Society, 1136 Independence Drive, Napoleon, OH 43545.
