

Donna Lee Cully, age 80, of West Unity, Ohio, peacefully passed away under hospice care on Friday evening, Feb. 20, 2026, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon, where she had been a resident for the past two years.
Donna was born on Feb. 3, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Raymond Cully and Hazel (Gill) Cully.
She later grew up in Alvordton, Ohio, alongside her sisters on the family farm. Donna cherished her rural upbringing and took great pride in helping with daily farm life.
She worked diligently caring for the sheep, pigs, horses, and chickens, and she gave just as much love and attention to the family’s beloved dogs and cats.
Though she had no children of her own, Donna found immense joy in babysitting for family members and close friends. S
he had an infectious and kind personality. Once you met Donna, you had a friend for life. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Peggy Cully, Martha Mansfield, and Linda Rogers; and nephew, James Griffin. Donna is survived by her eight nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and great-nephews; 19 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Private interment will take place at Pleasantview Union Cemetery. Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 State Highway 109 in Delta, has been entrusted with arrangements.
